Bryan M Rathbun:
Bryan began his career in the wood flooring industry in 1992 in Germany. He studied under the tutelage of a meister in Germany after completing his tour with the US Army. He spent a few years working for other hardwood flooring companies in Colorado and started his own flooring company in Denver in 2000. Rathbun Hardwood Floors, Inc., under the direction of Bryan and his wife Lavinia became a well-known flooring company within the flooring industry. Rathbun Hardwood Floors, Inc. was selected as one of 7 companies nationwide to become a charter member of the Bona Certified Craftsmen Program.
Bryan has attended many NWFA schools as a student and instructor. His company won the floor of the year contest in 2009. He holds the degree of Craftsmen and is a certified Installer, Sand and Finisher, CEU presenter and Inspector all with the NWFA.
Bryan has been in the wood flooring industry for 30 years and has cultivated a well-deserved reputation of service excellence and knowledge.
Lavinia Rathbun:
Lavinia began her career in the wood flooring industry on an edger and throwing boards during installation alongside her husband Bryan. Cerebral by nature, the science of wood and specifically wood flooring has captivated Lavinia’s attention for the past 25 years. Lavinia has pursued studies in interior design, marketing, and wood science. She has developed a precise path of success for her clients. She has excellent research skills and can help clients determine what wood flooring product is best suited for the end user. Her sleuthing skill during inspections is unmatched.

Bryans technical and hands on experience combined with Lavinia’s attention to detail and data research will find the root cause regarding issues relating to wood flooring resulting in a well-researched and informed inspection and provide clients with a best practice procedure that will meet or exceed industry or manufacturer guidelines in flooring selection and pre-installation process.
